So today I’m taking it way back for those of us who have been on a healthy hair journey for a while – I am reviewing Dabur’s Vatika Oil! I remember this hair oil (and other Ayurvedic products like henna) being hugely popular on hair boards a few years back, but I liked Vatika oil because it seemed super simple to work with and has the benefits of multiple herbs in one bottle (in case you don’t know, I love these “condensed” products!)
Happy St Patrick’s Day! I don’t celebrate it but I see no harm in being festive and sporting a bit of green color. Normally I’ll wear a green shirt, but this year I decided to wear a green polish! Ive had this polish for a while, but thought today would be the perfect day to finally wear it. This post will double as a nail polish review and a “nail of the day” post. The polish I’m wearing is by OPI and is called “Uh Oh…Roll Down The Window”. I bought mine off of eBay, but I’m sure you can find it on Amazon, OPI’s site and in stores where OPI polishes are carried.
You guys already know if I love something enough to dedicate a post to it, it must be good (Remember this?) I’ve been on my healthy hair journey for nearly seven years and natural for almost four years, but I still get excited about finding things that make my (hair) life easier. So my newest favorite hair discovery is aloe vera gel! I originally intended to include this in my next Random Thoughts Entry, but this was getting really drawn out, so I decided to give it it’s own post!
I realized that I haven’t talked about my hair (or done a hair related review) since January. To be totally honest, February was a hectic month for me and my hair unfortunately was not my top priority. So I decided that in March, I will focus more on my hair and do more hair related posts. To kick things off this month, I will be reviewing something a little different – a hair appliance! I’m excited to do this review because I almost never use, let alone buy, hair appliances (both my dryer and flat iron were pretty much given to me from family because they don’t use them). I will be reviewing the Hair Flair Limited Edition Pink Softhood Dryer. You can buy it on Amazon and from Hair Flair’s website. Although this item was sent to me for review, this review is still 100% honest. (more…)
