You guys already know if I love something enough to dedicate a post to it, it must be good (Remember this?) I’ve been on my healthy hair journey for nearly seven years and natural for almost four years, but I still get excited about finding things that make my (hair) life easier. So my newest favorite hair discovery is aloe vera gel! I originally intended to include this in my next Random Thoughts Entry, but this was getting really drawn out, so I decided to give it it’s own post!
I realized that I haven’t talked about my hair (or done a hair related review) since January. To be totally honest, February was a hectic month for me and my hair unfortunately was not my top priority. So I decided that in March, I will focus more on my hair and do more hair related posts. To kick things off this month, I will be reviewing something a little different – a hair appliance! I’m excited to do this review because I almost never use, let alone buy, hair appliances (both my dryer and flat iron were pretty much given to me from family because they don’t use them). I will be reviewing the Hair Flair Limited Edition Pink Softhood Dryer. You can buy it on Amazon and from Hair Flair’s website. Although this item was sent to me for review, this review is still 100% honest. (more…)
Hey everyone, how was your weekend? For those of us in the Northeast/Mid Atlantic, we definitely had a crazy weekend with Winter Storm Jonas. According to snowfall totals, my area got around 30 inches of snow! It’s crazy how much they underestimated this storm here in New York City; initially they predicted we’d get up to a foot of snow, but we got more than double that! One of the upsides of being snowed in is that I had the opportunity to try out a new conditioner, which I will be reviewing today. This is my first product review of the year and there will be many more to follow. According to the survey I created last month, that’s what you all wanted so I will deliver Today though, I will be reviewing the Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Hair Masque Treatment which can be found at Walmart, Walgreens, Amazon and Eden Bodywork’s website.
Hello and Happy 2016 everyone! I hope the New Year is treating you well so far. I love this time of year because it is so new and full of possibilities. I genuinely have a good feeling about 2016 and think it will be a great year for my hair. I know most people think New Year’s Resolutions are a waste of time, but I personally like making goals and working towards completing them. I made a list of resolutions last year that I fell short on but rather than be discouraged, it just motivates me to stay on track this year. So without further ado, here are my 2016 hair resolutions.
Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas/holiday season with your loved ones. So here we are at the end of another year. Can you believe that today is the last day of 2015? I feel like I’ve said this at some point literally every month this year, but this year seriously flew by. I’m genuinely excited for 2016 because I want to make some changes, which I will discuss more in depth when I post my 2016 Hair Resolutions.
As for my 2015 Resolutions, I did better than I expected:
